Two patents that
Swarm Technology LLC’s U.S. Patent Nos. 9,852,004 and 10,592,275 are directed to the abstract idea of a “scrum board,” a project management technique, and don’t include an inventive concept, Judge Diane Humetewa in the U.S. District Court for District of Arizona said.
“The idea of a scrum board does not become non-abstract when limited to the computer environment,” Humetewa wrote in a Monday order.
