Schonfeld Strategic Advisors filed a lawsuit against its former head of human capital and ExodusPoint Capital Management, seeking to bar them from using confidential information to solicit and hire its employees.
Schonfeld said in the lawsuit in state court in Manhattan that ExodusPoint, a hedge fund started by Michael Gelband, hired Alessandra Sassun, one of its employees, earlier this year. The suit alleges that Sassun provided Schonfeld trade secrets to ExodusPoint in violation of her prior employment contract, helping the firm’s effort to hire away other Schonfeld employees.
