A New York state judge denied a bid by Schonfeld Strategic Advisors for a preliminary injunction to bar the use of its alleged confidential information and trade secrets by ExodusPoint Capital Management.
Judge Andrea Masley ruled that Schonfeld had failed to show that, absent the injunction, it would suffer “irreparable harm,” one of the key criteria for issuing such an order, according to a copy of the decision released online Monday by the New York state Supreme Court for New York County.
