Samsung’s Galaxy Buds2 Pro Added to Techiya’s Texas Patent Fight

Samsung Electronics Co. must defend its Galaxy Buds2 Pro ear buds in an expanding patent fight involving earlier models of its wireless in-ear headphones, a federal court in Marshall, Texas, ordered.

US Magistrate Judge Roy S. Payne of the Eastern District of Texas agreed to add the Galaxy Buds2 Pro ear buds to the case after finding the patent holders wasted no time investigating the new model Samsung rolled out in August 2022.
