Samsung Wi-Fi 6-Enabled Devices Infringe Patents, Lawsuit Says

Samsung Electronics Co. was hit with a lawsuit by a wireless communications research and development company accusing the Korean giant of infringing four patents related to Wi-Fi 6 technology.

South Korea-based Wilus Institute of Standards and Technology Inc.'s complaint, filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, claims Samsung devices enabled for Wi-Fi 6, including phones, tablets, laptops, and appliances, infringe the patents.
