Samsung Must Pay $67 Million For Infringing 5G Smartphone Tech

Samsung Electronics Co. must pay G+ Communications LLC $67.5 million for failing to license essential technologies built into its line of Galaxy 5G smartphones, a Texas jury decided late Friday.

Jurors found Samsung infringed two G+ patents, but not a third, after the trial in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
