A Texas judge refused Samsung Electronic Co.'s request to throw out a $303 million patent-infringement award to computer parts maker Netlist Inc.
Judge Rodney Gilstrap found that a federal jury had sufficient evidence to support its decision and that allegedly prejudicial remarks lawyers made during the trial didn’t warrant a do-over.
