Samsung, KPN Resolving Lengthy Telco, Mobile Tech Patent Dispute

Samsung Electronics Co. and Dutch telecommunications firm Koninklijke KPN NV told a federal judge they’re resolving multiple patent suits in their lengthy dispute over mobile phones and networking products.

Judge Colm Connolly stayed proceedings at the companies’ request for 50 days as they finalize their resolution agreement including dismissal papers, according to orders filed June 20 in the US District Court for the District of Delaware. Samsung and KPN said in June 19 joint motions that they reached a mediated agreement to resolve cases.
