Samsung, Apple, Google Sued Over Watch Fall-Detection Tech (1)

A medical equipment manufacturer hit Samsung Electronics Co., Google LLC and other wearable technology companies with patent infringement allegations over its protected methods to monitor a watch user’s risk of falling.

UnaliWear Inc. accused Samsung, Google, Garmin Ltd. and Apple Inc.’s watch products of infringing US Patent Nos. 10,051,410 and 10,687,193 in separate federal complaints filed Dec. 12 in mutiple jurisdictions.
