Samsung Adds to Oura Smart Ring Technology Patent Dispute (1)

Samsung Electronics Co. added more allegations to its lengthy patent dispute with Oura Health Oy concerning wearable technology.

Oura’s smart ring products incorporate systems for sensors, biometrics, and wearable technology, according to a complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Samsung said Oura infringed US Patent Nos. 7,662,065, 9,008,973, 12,260,672, 12,279,849, 12,324,655 and 12,383,152.
