Samsung Accuses BOE of Infringing OLED Patents in Latest Suit

A Samsung Electronics Co. unit accused competitor BOE Technology Group Co. of patent infringement over the creation and sale of organic light emitting diode displays.

Samsung Display Co. sent BOE a letter in May 2022 accusing it of infringing its technology with OLED products, including the Nubia Z60 Ultra smartphone, according to a complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Samsung said BOE and its six units infringed US Patent Nos. 11,574,990, 11,574,991, 10.439,015 and 10,013,088.
