Samsung Accused of Infringing Several OLED Technology Patents

The screens in Samsung Electronics Co.‘s products infringe patents Pictiva Displays International Ltd. holds for organic light-emitting diode display panels, a complaint filed in a federal court in Texas says.

This is the second time Pictiva sued Samsung and its US subsidiary over its use of OLED technology in its smartphones, tablets, wearables, computers, and televisions, the complaint filed July 12 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas says.
