Samsara, Ex-Employee Settle Trade Secret Dispute With Injunction

Samsara Inc. settled a trade secret dispute with a former employee who left the artificial intelligence company to work for competitor Motive Technologies Inc.

Samsara and William Reich alerted the US District Court for the Northern District of California to the settlement Tuesday, noting that the terms of the deal include a stipulated permanent injunction. Each party will be responsible for their own attorney’s fees and costs, they said.

Reich stated in the stipulation that he is complying with his employment agreement by not disclosing Samsara’s confidential information to third parties, including future employers and his now-former employer Motive. He ...
