Makers of a mobile app game are accusing Lucasfilm Ltd. and Denny’s Inc. of infringing their trademark rights by using the game in promotions for the upcoming release of a Walt Disney Co. film focusing on “Star Wars” character Han Solo.
The Ren Ventures Ltd. and Sabacc Creative Industries Ltd. lawsuit, filed April 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, comes four months after Disney subsidiary Lucasfilm’s own trademark infringement lawsuit against the game companies.
