MOSCOW—At a July 2 meeting, the Russian Supreme Arbitration Court approved the constitution of a new court on intellectual property rights which becomes operational as of July 3.
The new IP rights court is designed to act as a court of appeal in IP rights violation cases and in cases to contest decisions of the Russian Federal Service for Intellectual Property (the Federalnaya sluzhba po intellektualnoi sobstvennosti, known as Rospatent).
