Russian TV broadcasters who allege multiple parties infringed on their programming were hit with discovery sanctions for failing to produce electronically-stored evidence, in a ruling by a Southern District of New York magistrate judge.

Channel One Russia Worldwide and the other plaintiffs failed to produce the evidence that was the basis for an affidavit supporting their contention that Infomir LLC unlawfully streams an unauthorized version of their television programming to consumers in the United States over the internet, the court said.
