Royal KPN had accused TCL’s smartphones and other devices configured to exchange multimedia content of infringing patents related to Web Real-Time Communication, or WebRTC.

Royal KPN and TCL “have finalized their agreement to resolve” the case, according to a stipulation of dismissal, filed Jan. 9 in federal court in Wilmington, Del.

The filing included no details of the settlement.
