The Rolling Stones’ record label has reached a settlement with Behr Process LLC over the paint company’s allegedly unauthorized use of the band’s 1966 hit “Paint It Black” on social media.
ABKCO Music & Records Inc. and Behr have finalized a written settlement agreement and also intend to file a stipulation of voluntary dismissal as soon as possible, according to their joint notice of settlement docketed Monday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
The notice requests that Judge George H. Wu adjourn all current dates and deadlines associated with the case.
