Roku Nearing Deal to End Patent Case Over OneView Ad Platform

A federal judge in Delaware paused Roku Inc.’s suit seeking judgment that its OneView advertising platform products and services don’t infringe AlmondNet Inc. patents while the parties work to finalize a settlement.

Judge Maryellen Noreika approved a stipulation and order staying the case pending settlement on Tuesday. The parties expect to complete the deal and file for dismissal within 14 days, according to the order. Absent that, it said, they will file a status report with the US District Court for the District of Delaware by May 12.
