Green Revolution Cooling Inc. accused Riot Platforms Inc. of infringing its patents concerning cooling technology utilized by Riot’s bitcoin mining facilities in Texas.
Riot’s facilities in Corsicana and Rockdale infringe US Patent No. 12,513,853, according to Green Revolution Cooling’s complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Green Revolution said Riot has received revenue from the infringing activities, noting a 10K filing stating the company’s bitcoin mining revenue was $576.3 million in 2025.
Riot’s Riot Corsicana LLC and Whinstone US Inc. units were named co-defendants in the lawsuit.
