Rimfrost Patent Suit Targets Aker’s Krill Oil in CVS Supplements

Aker BioMarine ASA’s krill oil products used in supplements sold by retailers including CVS Health Corp. infringe two patents, Rimfrost Technologies AS said in a federal lawsuit.

Rimfrost, part of Norway’s Olympic Group AS, alleged that Aker and five subsidiaries infringe US Patent Nos. 9,814,256 and 10,499,673 by selling and supplying krill oil products under the Superba brand, according to a complaint docketed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
