Raytheon Says Lockheed-Aerojet Deal Puts Its Technology at Risk

Raytheon Technologies Corp. has told U.S. antitrust officials that some of its key intellectual property could be at risk if they allow Lockheed Martin Corp.’s proposed takeover of a critical supplier shared by the defense giants, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Raytheon has objected to antitrust officials reviewing Lockheed’s proposed $4.4 billion takeover of Aerojet Rocketdyne Holdings Inc., telling the U.S. Federal Trade Commission that its intellectual property could be exposed to its rival if the deal proceeds, the person said.
