Raytheon Missile Tech Suit Doesn’t Belong in Texas, US Says

A patent lawsuit over Raytheon Technologies Corp. missile and defense systems shouldn’t be tried in Texas because its related to federal contracts, the US government said weighing in as an interested party.

The US Court of Federal Claims is the correct venue for Omnitek Partners LLC’s suit because Raytheon is a contractor for the US Missile Defense Agency and the US Navy, according to a statement of interest filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
