The brother of the late singer of the Ramones accused the widow of another band member of using the punk band’s trademarks without authorization, the latest entry in an ongoing courtroom fight between the two.
Mitchel Hyman, brother of Joey Ramone, accused Johnny Ramone’s widow Linda Cummings-Ramone of an “unrelenting quest for unearned fame and wealth by freeriding” the legendary band’s goodwill, in a complaint filed Aug. 23 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
