Ramey-Linked Delaware Suit on Hold for Patent Reexamination

Delaware’s top federal judge paused a case that had prompted him to summon one of the country’s most prolific filers of patent-infringement lawsuits from Texas for a fact-finding hearing.

Chief Judge Colm F. Connolly on Wednesday granted a joint motion by WirelessWerx IP LLC and Tracki Inc. to stay the case pending the US Patent and Trademark Office’s reexamination of the asserted patent, which covers a method to wirelessly monitor and control a movable object that has a transponder.
