Radian Withdraws Injunction Bid in Samsung Patent Lawsuit (1)

A patent owner withdrew its injunction motion seeking to block certain Samsung Electronics Co. products several weeks after the Trump administration filed a rare statement of interest in the case.

Radian Memory Systems LLC on Thursday filed a sealed motion to withdraw its bid for a preliminary injunction that would’ve blocked Samsung from selling in the US solid-state drives with features claimed in two Radian patents. Radian, in a redacted version of the motion filed Friday, said it was choosing to pull the motion based on new sworn testimony it received from Samsung on Wednesday and Thursday.
