Rad Golf, Chervò Settle Trademark Dispute Over Stylized Letter

Rad Golf Inc. and a luxury Italian clothing brand are close to resolving litigation over who has rights to a trademark covering a stylized letter “R,” they told a federal court.

The parties have reached a settlement agreement in principle, but need more time to finalize the terms of the agreement, they said in a motion and stipulation filed Sept. 26. The filing requests that the US District Court for the Southern District of California extend to Oct. 3 Chervò S.p.A.'s deadline to respond to Rad Golf’s complaint.
