Quest Software Inc. claimed in a federal lawsuit that financial technology company HealthEquity Inc. violated license agreements for the database management tool Toad, resulting in more than $1 million in lost fees.
The complaint filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California alleged that HealthEquity installed the Toad software on computers in excess of the 45 licenses the company originally purchased in 2022.
