A federal judge in Philadelphia flubbed in interpreting parts of Promptu Systems Corp.'s US Patent Nos. 7,047,196 and 7,260,538 in the company’s case against the cable giant, according to a precedential opinion issued Friday by the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. The patents cover speech-recognition and voice-command remote control methods and technology, respectively.
