Much of a Hollywood producer’s lawsuit alleging ex-partners stole a joint concept for film business management software and created a $1 billion product called Wrapbook survived a dismissal bid in New York federal court.

Michael Scott Vogel’s complaint—amended a second time after being dismissed in August—now adequately alleged a legal partnership with programmer Naysawn Naji, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said.
