Principal Financial Services Inc. accused a California-based jobs posting website of offering at least 144 fake jobs using the financial firm’s trademarks to gain access to applicants’ personal information, according to a federal lawsuit.
JobzMall Inc. used the stylized “P” logo in job postings, paired with elements like “Principal’s video marketing content, company history, and accurate information such as Principal’s headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa,” according to the complaint filed Oct. 11 in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
