A Tennessee clothier improperly used a copyrighted photo of Princess Diana online, the photographer is alleging in an infringement complaint in federal court there.
Bruce Baird & Co. Inc. allegedly used the 1985 photograph on its website without permission, photographer Glenn Harvey said Tuesday in his complaint in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Harvey, who said he was a photographer for the British royal family from 1985 to 1997, registered the image in 2019, according to the complaint. Harvey alleged he discovered the company’s unauthorized use of the photo on its website in November 2021. ...
