Poster Printer Settles Suit Over Sham Copyright Takedown Notices

Wall Art Distributors Inc. settled its lawsuit against a branding company for musical artists it accused of misusing copyright law to restrict sales of celebrity posters.

Wall Art and Merch Traffic LLC reached a settlement in principle, according to a Friday order in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, and Judge Philip M. Halpern dismissed the suit.
