WellcomeMat LLC sued Aylo Holdings S. r.l. in Texas federal court alleging its video editing system infringed a patent that allows adult film producers to upload videos and categorize content.
Aylo, formerly known as MindGeek, knew of US Patent No. 8,307,286 when it asked WellcomeMat to help the adult entertainment company in its September 2020 pursuit to invalidate a Scorpcast LLC patent using similar technology , according to the complaint filed Friday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
