Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp. sued a pop-up restaurant called “Moe’s Pop-Up” for replicating without consent “Moe’s Tavern” from the TV show “The Simpsons.”

The restaurant and bar, run by JMC Pop Ups LLC, features a copy of the “exterior and interior set dressing, art and set designs” tied to specific episodes of The Simpsons involving Moe’s Tavern as a plot point, according to the complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
