Pool-cleaning robots imported from China and sold online could be investigated for allegedly violating a pair of patents held by Zodiac Pool Systems LLC and its European unit, the US International Trade Commission announced Monday.
Zodiac alleged in a Friday complaint that Winny Pool Cleaner, Tianjin Pool & Spa Corp., and several units of Aiper Inc. sell devices that infringe US Patent Nos. 8,393,029 and 8,393,031.
