The creator of the online Mapping Police Violence project and his former organization Campaign Zero told a New York federal court they’ve settled their copyright and cyberpiracy litigation.
Samuel Sinyahngwe had responded to Campaign Zero’s lawsuit aimed at regaining several web domains with copyright and cyberpiracy counterclaims in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. But Tuesday, the parties jointly filed a letter informing the court that they’d reached an agreement in principle to settle all claims and counterclaims and asking for a month to finalize the deal.
