PNC President Michael Lyons Leaves for Fiserv After Year in Role

PNC Financial Services Group Inc. President Michael Lyons is leaving the regional bank after 13 years to join Fiserv Inc., where he will become chief executive officer by midyear.

Lyons, 54, had spent just under a year in the role, overseeing PNC’s primary business lines. Hired in late 2011, he previously led the Pittsburgh-based lender’s corporate and institutional banking before being promoted last February. He also helped lead the company’s acquisitions of RBC Bank USA in 2012 and BBVA USA Bancshares Inc. in 2021.
