A US subsidiary of Switzerland-based Kudelski SA accused
Pinterest’s systems, including advertisement recommendation and pin recommendation, use similar methods as OpenTV Inc.’s patents, according to a complaint filed Nov. 29 in the US District Court for the District of Delaware. OpenTV said it had been in licensing discussions with Pinterest over the span of four years.
Pinterest infringed US Patent Nos. 10,419,817; 9,699,503; 7,669,212 and 7,055,169, according to OpenTV.
