The Philadelphia Inquirer LLC says a company that turns sports coverage into memorabilia infringed the newspaper’s trademarks and copyrights by framing editions of its front pages celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles’ last two victories, including the recent Super Bowl.
The company called Title Game Frames didn’t have permission to sell framed copies of the February 10, 2025, issue of The Philadelphia Inquirer or several other front pages, said the newspaper in a lawsuit filed Feb. 14 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
