Pfizer’s Hospira Wins Legal Fees in Ruling by Biden Circuit Pick

Belcher Pharmaceuticals LLC must reimburse Pfizer Inc.’s Hospira “for every dollar that Hospira reasonably expended” on its lawyers during a patent-infringement dispute over epinephrine injections, based on inequitable conduct that Judge Leonard Stark called “truly exceptional in every way.”

The finding “certainly makes this case stand out from all the other cases I have seen,” Stark wrote in an order Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
