Pfizer’s Deal With Hikma Ends Patent Trial on Vyndamax Copy (1)

Pfizer Inc. agreed to end a dispute with Hikma Pharmaceuticals Plc after one day of trial, resolving the last remaining portion of a consolidated patent case over proposed copies of Pfizer’s blockbuster heart drug Vyndamax.

Judge Gregory B. Williams of the US District Court for the District of Delaware approved the parties’ stipulation of dismissal in an order issued Tuesday. The agreement came after the first day of a bench trial in which Hikma was the lone defendant, with two other generic-drug makers having reached similar deals on the eve of the trial.
