Personnel Changes at IP Law Firms, Organizations

The following are personnel changes and other news recently announced by prominent intellectual property law firms and other IP-related organizations:

• George N. Chaclas joined Day Pitney LLP’s Boston office as a patent prosecution partner in the firm’s intellectual property practice group. He will join the Providence, R.I., office upon completion of the firm’s merger with Howland Evangelista Kohlenberg LLP. Chaclas focuses on acquiring and using IP assets for negotiating and drafting licenses, preparing and prosecuting patent applications, and enforcing IP rights.
