Peloton Counters iFit, Asks Trade Agency to Block Imports (2)

Peloton Interactive Inc. filed a U.S. trade complaint seeking to block imports of NordicTrack maker iFit Inc.'s stationary exercise bikes, treadmills, elliptical machines, and rowing machines, hitting back at its rival one month after iFit filed its own action at the same agency.

In its complaint, filed late Thursday at the U.S. International Trade Commission, Peloton said that in early May 2020, after iFit had rolled out “its copycat leaderboard,” it enabled live classes for users of iFit bikes and treadmills. iFit’s move, according to Peloton, was “calculated to perfect its theft of market share from Peloton, who has ...
