Peloton Settles Legal Battle Over Use of Songs in Workout Videos

Peloton Interactive Inc. and The National Music Publishers’ Association settled a legal battle over the use of songs in the company’s workout videos.

Music publishers had been seeking damages of $150 million, arguing Peloton used more than 1,000 songs without a license, including those from Justin Timberlake and Drake. Peloton filed a countersuit in April accusing the NMPA of anticompetitive behavior.
