PayRange Patent Suit Targets Airwallet Mobile Vending Payments

Airwallet ApS’s mobile payment systems for vending and laundry machines infringe two PayRange LLC patents for enabling smartphone-based payments on coin-operated machines, a federal lawsuit said.

PayRange alleged that Denmark-based Airwallet’s mobile app and Airwallet PRO hardware installed on vending and laundry machines infringe US Patent Nos. 10,891,608 and 11,481,772 in a complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware. . The suit also targets related backend servers and cloud services.
