Pax Labs Inc. convinced a federal trade agency to prohibit competitor Stiiizy Inc. and manufacturer ALD Group Ltd. from importing oil vape devices that infringe four of its patents into the US.
The vape products sold by California-based Stiiizy, which markets cannabis products, and Hong-Kong based ALD violate trade laws and infringe US Patent Nos. 11,369,756, 11,766,527, 11,369,757, and 11,759,580, according to the US International Trade Commission’s Tuesday final determination finding notice. The patents deal with methods related to leak-resistant vaporizer cartridges and apparatuses including a battery.
