Patent Owner Wants Samsung’s Defenses Axed in 5G Tech Suit

Hannibal IP LLC told a Texas federal judge to throw out Samsung Electronics Co.'s allegations that the patent owner withheld information concerning prior art from a federal agency in a dispute over wireless communications technology.

Samsung failed to sufficiently support its allegations that the inventors and application filers were aware of the related technology, according to a motion to dismiss Samsung’s inequitable conduct defenses filed Monday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
