The Nevada federal court misinterpreted a 2006 contract involving Alternative System Inc.’s patents and its then-owner Beverly Nelson, according to a brief filed Monday in the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Applications in Internet Time LLC, ASI’s sister company and plaintiff against Salesforce, argued it owns the patents and not Beverly Nelson, who controlled AIT and ASI.
