Patent Office Seeks Input on Regional Offices, Diversity Efforts

The US Patent and Trademark Office is requesting public input on planning and designing new satellite offices as part of an effort to increase outreach to women, minorities, and other groups underrepresented in the patent system.

The office is also seeking comments on potential locations for such a regional office in the southeastern US, according to a federal register notice set to publish on Tuesday.
